1. Scope and who we are

This Global Privacy Policy applies to the international edition of the ClassPilot mobile application, the ClassPilot international APIs, and ClassPilot pages that link to this policy (collectively, the “Services”).

When a teacher, tutor, school, studio, or other organization uses ClassPilot to manage information about its students, customers, members, or staff, that user or organization may be the controller or business, while ClassPilot acts as its processor or service provider. If your information was entered by a ClassPilot customer, please contact that customer first; we will assist them where required.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. If information is required to provide a requested feature or perform our contract, choosing not to provide it may mean that feature cannot work.

ClassPilot does not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Device permissions and local processing

ClassPilot asks for device permissions only when they are relevant to a feature. The exact wording and controls depend on your operating system.

  • Calendar: if enabled, ClassPilot reads the available calendar list to locate or create a ClassPilot calendar and manages the events created through ClassPilot. We do not use unrelated calendar content for advertising.
  • Notifications and alarms: used to show local reminders for lessons and other schedule events you configure.
  • Photos or media: used when you choose a profile image or ask ClassPilot to save a generated schedule image or export. Only the item you choose for upload is transmitted to us.

You can review or revoke permissions in your device settings. Revoking a permission may disable the related feature but will not prevent you from using unrelated ClassPilot features.
